Planning approval granted for Andark's training lake

Andark MD, Andy Goddard, commented that they are delighted to be able to proceed with the project after lengthy delays with obtaining planning permission. "When completed, the lake will look totally natural and will be about 7m deep and 1.5 times the size of an olympic swimming pool. It will be used mainly for our own trainees but it will also be possible for other groups to use it on a prebooked basis."

Andark will be sinking some wrecks in the lake and will also be providing changing facilities on site.
