DAMPEST DAIRY Lyngstøylvatnet, Norway

By Rikard Godlund

Appeared in DIVER February 2009

ONE HUNDRED YEARS AGO, in May 1908, a big avalanche started on the Keipen mountain, in a little valley west of Geirangerfjord. It dammed the river, forming a small lake that is now called Lyngstøylvatnet.
