"Excellent visibility and safe conditions" plus a wide range of wreck and other sites in a variety of depths make Malta an ideal place for tech-dive training, says Regaldive.
"The courses enable divers to go deeper with more safety, to extend their dive times and to visit dive sites out of reach of the recreational diver - with the added bonus of having fewer divers around you."
From the PADI TecRec range, the courses cover three levels: TEC 40, TEC 45 and TEC 50. They are available as part of Regaldive holidays over a number of dates up to the end of October.
Prices start at £661 for PADI TEC 40 plus four additional guided tech dives as part of a 7-day holiday package with return flights from the UK, transfers and B&B accommodation. The 2- to 3-day TEC 40 course covers skills including the use of twin-sets and stage cylinders, and managing gas shutdowns.
