For divers wishing to get closer to whale sharks and learn more about them, the Project AWARE Foundation and the Shark Trust are supporting a new PADI Speciality course, PADI Whale Shark Awareness Diver. Information or photos from ensuing dives can be uploaded to a central website to help increase knowledge about the species.
