Based on the island of Utila, this intensive course offers tuition and qualifications from PADI Open Water to Divemaster over seven-weeks.
Once the training is complete, students are encouraged to stay on and take part in a four-week conservation project, which has modules in whale shark and dolphin research, as well as coral-reef protection.
It costs ?3250 per person, including flights, transfers, accommodation, diving (tuition and certification fees), and kit hire. Accommodation upgrades and meals cost extra on a per-week basis. Students can opt to go just for the first two weeks to earn an Open Water certificate. Or, if they already have a diving qualification, the price can be adjusted accordingly.
The conservation project cost ?1350 including the above, plus food, based on two people sharing accommodation.
The ScubaSkool course on Utila runs from 16 July to 31 August, and the conservation project from 3-28 September. |
