| The new purpose-built diving centre in Hamata is located in the Wadi Lahmy Azur Resort, a 4* star hotel with 128 dome-shaped rooms and modern facilities. Three dive-boats take in all the local sites, with two dives a day for five days costing 229 euros. The second new Orca Dive Club is located at the Coral Garden Resort, Gassous Bay (pictured), 12 miles south of Safaga. Accommodation is on a half-board basis in one of 39 bungalow-style rooms. The equivalent dive package costs 191 euros, and the PADI Advanced course 202 euros. |
