Departing from Puerto Rico aboard the Nekton Rorqual on a range of dates between 3 and 31 October, the week-long trips have been reduced in price by more than 40%, from US$1795 to US$999.
The largest of the four US Virgin islands, St Croix is a rich and diverse area for diving, featuring unspoiled reefs, and a plethora of wrecks and artificial reefs.
Of particular interest is the spectacular wall - home to massive sea fans, giant sea whip plumes, and a plethora of dense soft corals - which runs for 7 miles parallel to the north side of the island.
Shorter liveaboard trips to St Croix with Nekton Diving Cruises are also available. In September, a 4-day trip costing US$695 departs on the 23rd; and a 6-day trip costing US$895 departs on the 27th. Cruise prices don't include air fares, transfers or local and other taxes.
Since 1993, Nekton Diving Cruises has designed, constructed and currently operates the Nekton Rorqual and her sister ship the Nekton Pilot, both unique Small Waterplane Area Twin Hull (SWATH) liveaboard dive vessels catering for scuba divers and watersports enthusiasts in the Caribbean.
