According to the country's Chamber of Diving and Water Sports (CDWS), current restrictions on flights from a number of countries has resulted in resorts along the Red Sea coast resembling 'the old days'.
"Divers in the Red Sea are enjoying empty reefs, quiet jetties and some rare sightings for these warm and sunny February days. Reports of rays, dolphins and reef sharks are now a daily occurrence."
With this in mind, CDWS urges scuba divers to take advantage of some highly competitive offers (see link below) available from operators such as Emperor Divers, Camel Dive Club, Divers United, Red Sea Diving College, Ocean College, and the Sea Queen Fleet, while diving operators in the Red Sea adjust to the major changes the events of the last month have brought.
"CDWS and its members are proud to see that European divers continue to show their support of the Red Sea diving industry and look forward to welcoming more divers back to their dive resorts as more and more flight routes are re-opened.
"Flights from the UK have experienced no restrictions, and this week both the German and Dutch foreign offices have lifted their restrictions on flights in to the Red Sea resorts."
