Lake Placid Ellerton Park, N Yorks

By Mike Ward

Appeared in DIVER February 2009

SERENE ISN'T A WORD normally associated with inland dive sites, where half the dive clubs in the UK can usually be seen towing and beaching mock-casualties in a spirited recreation of the Gallipoli landings, but serenity may be on offer at Ellerton Park Lake. It's not a big or challenging dive, but it is good fun, and a nice place to be.
