FIN STRAPS OCEAN DIVER SPRING STRAPS

There now seem to be two types of diver, those who use the rubber straps supplied with their fins, or the replacements they fitted when they broke, and those who know better. Its not just about longevity and avoiding that helpless expression when you pull on your fins at a far-flung dive-site and one comes away in your hand. Its about the way your foot is held tightly into the pocket, so that the fins become an extension of your legs.
No energy is lost to fin wobble. Every bit of effort you put in is delivered to the fin blade.

Unique Features
Ocean Diver spring-straps have strong stainless-steel springs enclosed in a plastic tube with a handy lug to make pulling them on easy, and a fitting that goes straight onto the fin lugs.
Other spring-straps employ a standard plastic strap-buckle. These allow well-meaning crew-members to disconnect them at the buckle, as with a rubber strap, instead of simply pulling the spring-strap off your heel. This leaves the female part of the buckle dangling and susceptible to falling off and getting lost. These stainless-steel lugs prevent that possibility.

Efficacy
I found that I could pull my fins on in a moment. Similarly I could pull them off just as easily when I needed to. In between, in the water, I fitted them and forgot them. Get some!
