The U2 uses ultrasonic waves to communicate and has a range of 100m. Using ultrasonic rather than radio frequency waves means that the signal wont be affected by interference from HID dive lights or camera strobes, says Liquivision. The U2 uses the same user-changeable batteries as the Lynx, either rechargeable or disposable. It is available as a package with a Liquivision Lynx for £1129 or as a standalone for £410.
