Powered by three AA batteries with two power settings, the torch delivers light at a narrow 5° beam angle with claimed outputs of 800 and 300 lumens and respective burntimes of 90 and 265 minutes. The LF800-N can be fitted with optional coloured filters (red or blue) and a condensing lens that narrows the beam further for super-macro applications. The light, which can also be used as a topside spotting lamp, costs £290. A colour filter set costs £30 and the condenser lens £50.
