WET n DRY Dry suit survey
OTTER SKIN (563) THE SUITS

Distributor: Otter Watersports 01274 727252.
First Impressions: A very well-made suit made from a uniquely smooth material. Very tough. This suit would be suitable for the clumsiest wreck diver. Perfect for diving deep wrecks.
Material and Construction: Unique trilaminate with a tough outer layer and some stretch. All seams are double-stitched and double-taped. Elasticated waistband at the back.
Boots: Extremely heavy duty.
Zip: Mediumweight without comfort flap or protecting outer flap.
Seals: Conical latex neck seal and heavy-duty conical wrist seals.
Wrist Seal Contact Length: 3.5cm.
Knee Pads: Double layer of trilaminate material.
Valves: Apeks rotating inflator and low-profile auto dump.
Notable Other Features: One double pocket is quite big but not too secure-looking, with no drain-hole visible. No allowance for braces. Reflective strips.
Ease of Dressing: Easy enough. No fuss. The zip feels rather short.
In The Water: It does exactly what it promises to do. It was slightly stretchy, which aided manoeuvrability. I was bone dry. It does the job perfectly.
Approx. Weight: 4.2kg.
Made-to-Measure: Yes.
Tested by: Tim Bradley.
