NDAC fatality sustained chest injuries

A 28-year-old scuba diver died on Sunday (8 October) at the National Diving & Activity Centre (NDAC) inland site in Gloucestershire.

The incident occurred at around 3.30pm at the 80m-deep flooded limestone quarry in Tidenham near Chepstow.

According to Gloucestershire Police the man had “sustained serious chest injuries” and was pronounced dead at the scene, though they said that his death was not being treated as suspicious.

His relatives had been informed.
