Underwater gun run for charity

Think the old Royal Tournament but under water. Four-person diving teams are challenged with manoeuvring a 62kg steel gun through a challenging pool obstacle course.

Organised by Billericay’s Phoenix Divers and held at nearby Basildon’s Underwater Film Studios, the gun runs can be completed by up to 25 teams on each of the participation days.

Entry charges of £50 per team all go to the Help for Heroes fund, while any additional sponsorship raised by participants will be welcomed. 

Help for Heroes is dedicated to aiding service personnel injured in the course of duty.
