On 4 February, at the university's Robbins Conference Centre, participants have the chance to hear illustrated talks on subjects ranging from bullion ship HMS Edinburgh, the Titanic and the Holland V submarine to Black Sea wrecks, 3000 years of wrecks off Salcombe and the UK Shipwreck Index.
The event represents a chance to talk to key figures in archaeology, general wreck diving and from governmental departments. Tickets cost£15, with lunch available at or outside the centre. An evening dinner at the Moat House Hotel near Plymouth Hoe costs£20.
Tickets will be sold on the door but, with the 250-seat centre filled to capacity in recent years, advance booking is recommended by the organiser, NAS South West.
