Veteran diver Peter Scoones played a key part in filming underwater sequences for this ground-breaking series, and he's one of several speakers at DIVE 2006 next month who'll be showing stunning footage from recent TV projects. Also among the formidable line-up of guest speakers will be Monty Halls, who'll be previewing his latest series of Great Ocean Adventures with footage including killer whales in Canada, spinner dolphins in Brazil, and terrifying Humboldt squid in Mexico. And shark diver Mike Rutzen will be at the show describing filming around the world with various shark species for Animal Planet.
Meanwhile, closer to home, BBC Coast presenter Miranda Krestovnikoff will be talking about her recent dives filming basking sharks off the Isle of Man and blue sharks off Cornwall.
DIVE 2006 takes place at the NEC, Birmingham on October 15 and 16.
In addition to a packed speaker programme, this year's show will boast more than 320 exhibitors offering diving products including holidays, training courses, leisurewear and all the latest gear. There will also be in-hall diving features including try-dive pools, gear displays and a gallery of award-winning underwater photos.
