The event, to be held on 25 March at the London Welsh Centre in Gray's Inn Road, is the brainchild of the Sub-Aqua Association, working with hyperbaric centre the London Diving Chamber.
They want divers to be better informed about the risks of DCI, and the seminar is open to divers from all training agencies. 'DCI doesn't discriminate,' says the SAA's Bob Cole, who came up with the idea.
After the divers have shared their experiences, hyperbaric doctors will offer practical advice, and the seminar will extend to cover a range of topics, including diver denial and facts about PFOs and lung shunts.
The admission charge of ?12 includes a light lunch. To book, email Juliet at the London Diving Chamber on info@londondivingchamber.co.uk |
