Sara Campbell set two new women's records, one of which is also a British outright record, with dives in Dahab's Blue Hole, overseen by freediving governing body AIDA.
Campbell broke the previous British women's marks by large margins. In Constant Weight, where the diver descends and ascends by fin power carrying any chosen weight throughout, she dived to 65m, breaking the old record by 11m.
In Free Immersion, pulling by hand along a rope, she reached 62m, an increase of 12m. The mark is also an outright record, exceeding the British men's mark by 2m.
Londoner Campbell, who spends much of her time based in Dahab, already holds the British women's Constant Weight Without Fins record, at 30m. A member of the British Freediving Association, she has freedived competitively for only a year.
