Brits score at Antibes
|
British photographers and film-makers took a series of top awards at the International Festival of Underwater Film and Photography, at Antibes in the south of France.

Zac Macaulay took Gold in the Stills category of Underwater Advertising for his shot designed to publicise the British Heart Foundation (above). He also received a Special Mention in the same section for an ad for Bristol-Myers Squibb Medical Imaging.
Alex Mustard, a multiple winner of international photo competitions, was awarded the International Prize for Underwater Image books, for his new Voyage au Coeur des Recifs (Reefs Revealed).
In Advertising's Film category, Mike Valentine took Gold for sequences promoting Smirnoff drinks, Rich Fruit and Stella Artois.
Mark Thorpe won the Public Prize in Films, Group B, for The Majesty of Luck, while John Boyle and Fionn Crow Howieson won the Dimitri Rebikoff Prize for their film Klin Wara. www.underwater-festival.com
