Included will be examinations of how the former quarry has changed physically over the years, and how it has affected diving and other communities associated with it.
The project, conducted under the NAS's Diving Into History initiative, requires in particular feedback from divers who used the Cove from the mid-1950s to late 1970s. In May, the NAS will survey Stoney using remote sensing techniques. The result should be a detailed 3D view of the former quarry and its contents.
