For divers, it could be footage of an unforgettable underwater encounter with a special marine creature - or, of course, some pre-dive foul-up on the boat! ITV also hopes that some films will impart useful skills information and coaching tips.
The site, called Grassroots Sport, is run as part of ITV Local, based on ITV's 11 community-based broadcasting regions. ITV Local already runs news, weather, films and documentaries on a regional basis.
