Aberdeen's National Hyperbaric Centre (NHC), which revealed the plan, also carries out studies on climate change and tests offshore equipment.
The NHC has also expanded its facilities to include?hyperbaric oxygen therapy?treatment of carbon monoxide poisoning?and wounds.
