The diver, a male aged 53 described as 'an experienced diver', was in a club group exploring the 30m-deep wreck of the cargo ship Somali, near Seahouses in north Northumberland. He went missing during the morning dive on Sunday, 18 May.
Following an emergency call from the divers' charter vessel, Sovereign 3, Humber Coastguard co-ordinated a search involving RNLI lifeboats from Seahouses and Craster, the Boulmer Independent Lifeboat, the SAR helicopter from RAF Boulmer, and sport divers from other vessels nearby.
On Monday, searches continued with combs of the wreck and seabed by police and sport divers, but nothing was found.
