Midlands to get chamber
|
A recompression chamber is to be established in Rugby, serving Midlands divers.

|
The chamber is to be installed at Rugby's Hospital of St Cross, and should be up and running by the end of October.
The ?750,000 chamber is being funded and fitted by Midlands Diving Chamber, a subsidiary of the company London Diving Chamber. It will be welcomed particularly by those who visit the highly popular Stoney Cove inland dive site at Sapcote in Leicestershire, just a short distance away.
The chamber will be used both for diving recompressions and a range of general medical treatments. Hospital of St Cross is run by University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust.
