Apart from those doyens of the craft Alex Mustard and Martin Edge speaking on the Concourse Stage, Saeed Rashid (pictured) has put together a veritable show within a show, with a galaxy of guest speakers appearing in the PhotoZone on both days of the Birmingham Dive Show, which takes place at the NEC over the weekend of 27/28 October.
These include world-class photographer Michael AW, Gavin Parsons (Harnessing Creativity), Paul ‘Duxy' Duxfield of Ocean Leisure Cameras on new technology (Mirrorless Magic) and Alex Tattersall (Thoughts On Composition).
And there's also Saeed's own Top 10 Tips For What To Do After A Dive!
The full PhotoZone Programme can be seen here, together with the main DIVE 2012 Speaker Programme.
Elsewhere in the PhotoZone, the British Society of Underwater Photographers (BSoUP) will be runing its annual Prints Competition, with the opportunity for visitors to have their say on who should win.
BSoUP members will also be on hand to answer technical queries one to one. And opportunities for browsing and buying the latest underwater camera equipment and accessories will, of course, also abound!
The UK's biggest and most popular event for divers, DIVE 2012 will feature around 300 companies offering diving gear, holidays and services, plus a host of special attractions. These include two in-hall diving pools, the British Isles Experience, the 3D NoTanx Freedive Simulator, as well as the expanded PhotoZone area.
The show's PADI Village will feature attractions including a special seminar area, and BSAC will have a strong presence, with not only its main club stand, but also a series of BSAC Pods run by local branches and a new Kidz Zone.
Speakers appearing on the main DIVER Stage and Concourse Stage include Andy Torbet, Monty Halls, Paul Rose and John Bantin.
DIVE 2012 opening times are 9.30-6.00 on Saturday 27 October and 9.30-5.00 on Sunday 28 October.
Ticket prices start at just £7.50 (a saving of £4 per person off the full price of £11.50).
