With around 300 exhibitors expected, DIVE 2012 is shaping up to be a truly world-class event, with divers travelling to Birmingham from far and wide for a welcome shot of diving information, advice and inspiration, and to link up with friends and buddies from around the globe.
DIVE 2012 provides the perfect chance to compare, try and buy diving equipment at competitive prices, to weigh in the balance holidays, and to catch up with activities and offers from training agencies including PADI, BSAC and SSI.
To get an idea of what dive gear is on offer, visitors should head for the show's New Products Showcase (pictured) to see recently-launched items ranging from dive computers to BCs and drysuits.
Other in-hall attractions to look out for include two in-hall diving pools, the Caribbean Village, Asia-Pacific Showcase, British Isles Experience, 3D NoTanx Freedive Simulator and the new-look PhotoZone.
Among speakers appearing on the main DIVER and Concourse Stages will be Andy Torbet, Monty Halls, Paul Rose, deep-wreck divers Mark Dixon and Jeff Cornish, and Titanic explorer Rory Golden.
The show's PADI Village will feature attractions including a special seminar area, and BSAC will have a strong presence, with not only its main club stand, but also a series of BSAC Pods run by local branches and a new Kidz Zone.
DIVE 2012 takes place at the NEC, Birmingham, on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th October.
