Dead diver named

A man who lost his life while diving in Orkney’s Scapa Flow has been named.
Nicholas Bowyer, 24, from Cirencester in Gloucestershire, died on 12 August after getting into difficulty during a group dive on the wreck of the German light cruiser Koln, in 35m of water.
Bowyer was retrieved from the sea and attempts were made to resuscitate the unconscious diver aboard the dive-boat as it headed for port.
Ashore, ambulance crew confirmed that he had died.
