World guide to cetaceans

Through the WDCS Species Guide, you can learn all about the creatures' physiologies, habitats, populations, lifestyles and conservation needs.

You’ll also pick up a fair few eyebrow-raising facts. For instance did you know that a dolphin embryo looks a human one?

Or that Pacific humpback whales migrate more than 6000 miles a year, one of the longest migrations of any species in the world?

Or that an adult fin whale manages to pee about 970 litres a day? Important stuff!
