With his energetic presentations about a diving career that ranges from being base commander of the British Antarctic Survey to leading the global expedition featured in the BBC's Oceans TV series, Paul has taken the past couple of Dive Shows by storm
Appearing on the same platform as Paul Rose at LIDS 2010, which takes place at ExCeL on the weekend of March 27/28, will be other top diving speakers including marine-life specialists Mike Rutzen (describing freediving with great white sharks in South Africa) and Andrea Marshall (the manta rays of Mozambique), and deep-wreck divers Teresa Telus and Leigh Bishop (deeper under Truk Lagoon).
As well as expert training advice, an abundance of dive gear to try and buy and the latest dive holidays, show features will include try-dive pools for beginner and rebreather divers and an RNLI Sea Simulator. And new to LIDS this year is the Visions in the Sea Underwater Photography Show featuring many top diving photographers and videographers. Free to all visitors, Visions in the Sea will form part of a remarkable array of attractions at LIDS 2010 devoted to the world of u/w images.
Visitors buying tickets in advance will benefit from a saving of up to £4 per ticket.
