The Basingstoke company is providing a discount of £85 on its latest Galileo SOL and Luna designs, where buyers can bring in for exchange an Air X, Air Z or other old Uwatec computer.
The offer began on 20 June and expires on 30 September. It precedes the company’s withdrawal, from 30 September, of services in relation to the Air X and Air Z models.
Scubapro Uwatec UK will no longer be offering exchanges, returns, replacements or repairs, with the exception that battery replacement for Air Z computers will continue.
“All good things must come to an end,” says Scubapro Uwatec UK, “and even if they may still function... some of these computers are more than 10 years in the market - they are old.”
The company’s latest designs offer hoseless gas integration, predictive multi-gas function, trimix upgrade facility, and profile-dependent intermediate stops calculation.
Other features include full-tilt digital compass, heart rate monitoring, apnea mode, personalised user interface with large display, and owner-replaceable battery.
