Bite-Back's London dinner
20 July 2010
Marine conservation campaign group Bite-Back is to hold a fund-raising dinner and dance on a vessel in London’s Thames River.
The black-tie evening will take place on 18 September aboard the three-decked Hispaniola, moored on the Embankment opposite the London Eye.
The annual event is, claims Bite-Back, becoming “the most highly anticipated and prominent social gathering of scuba divers and friends in London”.
Money raised during the evening will go toward Bite-Back’s campaigning activities and to Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Juicy prizes are promised for the event’s fund-raising auction.
Tickets cost £75 per person, £65 if booked before the end of July.
