Following an emergency call sent out around lunchtime yesterday, Milford Haven Coastguard directed an SAR helicopter from RAF Chivenor, Devon to airlift the divers from their chartered vessel.
They were taken to Withybush Hospital in Haverfordwest for recompression treatment.
Two of the divers were reported to be suffering symptoms of DCI. The third was not, at the time of the evacuation, judged to be suffering from DCI but was feeling unwell.
The evacuation followed that of two divers from Caernarfon Bay, North Wales two days earlier. They developed symptoms of DCI after making a rapid ascent together.
