From 28-30 August, the St Abbs and Eyemouth Voluntary Marine Reserve holds its 26th annual splash-in event. Shots are taken within Reserve waters on the Saturday.
A slide show of finalists and judging take place at St Abbs Old School on the Sunday, with “hundreds of pounds worth of prizes” awaiting winners.

On 4 September, the Northern Underwater Photography Group’s Summer Splash requires that shots are taken that day anywhere in North Wales.
Judging takes place at the Treaddur Bay Hotel that evening, with prizes including a liveaboard holiday and photographic equipment.
The NUPG was formed in 2000 to “enable underwater photographers in the north of the UK to share their experiences and ideas”.
