Free Indonesian instructor training

Blue Season Bali, a PADI 5-Star Career Development Centre, is offering a seven-month PADI scuba instructor training package, based in Bali and worth some US$16,000.

Applicants needs to submit a one-minute video or 500-word text explaining why they want to change their lives and become PADI diving instructors.

Blue Season Bali, which has received PADI Asia Pacific’s 2010 Outstanding Dive Business Award, claims that the successful applicant will be “trained by the industry's best PADI course directors and instructors”.

“We should end up with a fantastic instructor at the end which is a great bonus, and the publicity for Blue Season Bali is also very welcome,” company head Jonathan Cross told Divernet. "It is an aim to get more people aware about the diving in Bali and Indonesia.

“The winner of this competition will be doing video blogs, written blogs, Facebook and Twitter updates - all with a view to keeping the online audience aware of the experience.”

The Best Dive Job in the World competition is now open and closes on 28 February next year.

Applicants can have dived before or be complete diving beginners.
