The London International Dive Show (LIDS 2011), at ExCeL on 26/27 March, will feature gear ranging from BCs and drysuits to dive torches and computers.
Items of particular interest will include Oceanic's new Biolite BC (pictured), Beuchat's VRT 80 regulator, Tusa's BCJ Conquest APA BC, AP Valves' Commando Escape BC, Suunto's D9, Greenforce's Hybrid LED dive torches, and Metalsub's XRE-5000 LED.
Drysuit highlights will include O'Three's new Ri 2-100 flex and Ri 1-100ccn, DUI's FLX Extreme, and the new Body Glove dive range brought to LIDS by Typhoon.
Tek diving gear will also feature strongly, both on exhibitors' stands and in the show's New Products Showcase display area.
Among retailers able to supply a wide range of items to LIDS visitors will be Andark, Beaver, Cornish Divers, DivePursuits.com, Go Dive, Mike's Essex Dive Store, Robin Hood Watersports, Simply Scuba, Underwater Explorers, and Underwater World at Stoney Cove.
Underwater photo gear will also feature strongly at the show, with the new PhotoZone being very much the place to head for.
Other attractions at LIDS 2011, the 10th anniversary Dive Show at ExCeL, include dedicated dive holiday areas focussing on diving in the Red Sea, Caribbean, Asia-Pacific and British Isles, Try-Dive and Rebreather pools, and a free programme of presentations by world-class diving speakers.
Advance tickets for LIDS 2011 cost just £7.50 (or £6.50 if you buy six or more). Ticket bookings made before the end of February will qualify for a prize draw to win a Suunto Air dive computer worth £399.
