As last year, the fundraising evening will take place aboard RS Hispaniola, a decommissioned ferry permanently moored on the north bank of the River Thames, opposite the London Eye.
Proceeds from the black-tie event will go to Bite-Back’s Shark and Marine Conservation programme and to Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Up to 130 participants will be able to enjoy a three-course dinner with wine, raffle, disco, fundraising roulette tables and the chance to bid for a series of prizes.
Tickets bought before the end of July cost £65 each, after which the price will rise to £75. They are expected to sell quickly so prompt purchase is recommended, savings notwithstanding.
“Every year this event grows in terms of popularity and prestige, raising thousands of pounds for two remarkable charities,” event spokesman Stuart Keasley told Divernet.
“Ultimately it’s a chance for divers to enjoy good food, great company and to have a memorable evening that makes a genuine difference.”
