The company has invited technical diving expert Steve Bogaerts to talk about the configurations, techniques and advantages of sidemount operations.
While speaking within the context of a cave diving expedition recently completed in Mexico, Bogaerts’ lecture will be relevant to ordinary sport divers keen to acquire sidemount diving skills.
The event is being run at DiveLife dive centre, in Manchester’s Whitefield area.
It comes just after training agency PADI’s announcement that it is to incorporate sidemount diving techniques into its mainstream training programme, starting around September.
