Seasearch achievements

Some 600 volunteer divers participated to produce, says Seasearch, “another record year” in terms of reports submitted (2140).

Gratifying was that, within the overall figure, there had been a “55% increase in Survey Forms, which typically provide three times as much data as Observation Forms”.

The organisation’s work had added significance given that it was helping to inform those responsible for creating new Marine Conservation Zones.
