SOME TIME AGO, my dad asked me to read an earlier Dilo book, but I found it a bit boring. He says that I think this new one is great because I am now much older. The book is about a dolphin called Dilo and a girl like me called Debra.
Debra likes swimming in the sea with Dilo but after she dreams that the Witch of Black Rock has cast a spell over him, he disappears. Really, some men, who want to put him in a dolphin show together with another dolphin called Daisy, have kidnapped him.
Well it turns out all right in the end and both dolphins are rescued. My dad says I shouldn't say what happens or I will spoil it for you. It's a great story, a bit like a Famous Five story only set at the seaside.
I enjoyed reading it very much and my younger sister liked it too because it has got some nice pictures in it which help you understand what's going on if you are not such a good reader as me.
