The 38th World Festival of Underwater Pictures returns to Marseille.
For 38 years, the World Festival of Underwater Pictures has brought together artistic, photographic and cinematographic productions related to the underwater world.
For five days at the end of October each year the Festival offers the general public a window on the seas and oceans of the world.
More than 100 exhibitors, almost 450 photos in competition on display and more than 140 films projected on the big screen...
Special attractions this year will include -
- a photographic presentation of cave-diving in Russia.
- David Pilosof will remind us of the inspiration gained from the early Mike Portelly film Oceans Daughter and Pilosofs later production Samantha in the Red Sea.
... The World Festival of Underwater Pictures is without doubt the major meeting place for all enthusiasts of underwater images and the marine environment.
